Everyone was expecting a lot from this group from the first time it was mentioned. Perhaps too much hype was the first big problem; they say that absolute power corrupts absolutely, and maybe that's what happened here. It's not the beats, it's not the lyrics, it's not even the greedy ideas that made this group a reality. It's that these three rappers are good on their own and don't need each other to shine. They never went to school together or rapped together among friends, yet they were thrown together and told to make an album. For many reasons this just doesn't work, especially with rap music. It seems like they all wrote their verses independently of one another, then rapped in whatever order they felt like it. There's no fluid feel, there are no segues between tracks, and there is definitely no polished feel. Apparently, this album just wasn't on their list of things they were really excited to do. There are a few good tracks, but as a whole this definitely falls short of any of their solo work.
