AllMusic Review by

Paul Winter has had a long, rich career experimenting with sounds and creating albums adventurous, profound, and soothing to the spirit. This 2007 release--nominated for a Grammy--explores Native American instrumentation and the natural sounds of the alpine valleys and majestic mountains of Southern Colorado, including real bird calls, coyote howls, and buffalo stomping. The Apache singer/flautist John-Carlos Perea guests memorably on several songs.
