AllMusic Review by

Dance fans can argue whether a list of the year's true anthems would stretch out to 38 tracks, but Cream Anthems 2002 does excellent work of summing the annum in dance music. Nearly every track is an excellent original or a well-chosen remix, and the first disc hits a high note early with the three-track set "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" by Daft Punk, "Thrill Me" by Junior Jack, and "Romeo" by Basement Jaxx. The second disc has plenty of highlights too -- Green Velvet's "La La Land," Boris Dlugosch's "Never Enough," and a remix of Kosheen's "Hide U" by John Creamer and Stephane K.
