AllMusic Review by

Country Shots: God Bless America delivers patriotic country songs such as Ernest Tubb's "It's America (Love It or Leave It)" and Hank Williams, Jr.'s "Don't Give Us a Reason." Bobby Bare's "God Bless America Again," Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the U.S.A.," and Glen Campbell's "God Must Have Blessed America" sing America's praises somewhat less stridently. Tex Ritter's "Americans (A Canadian's Opinion)" adds a bit of humor to the album, while Bill Anderson's "Where Have All Our Heroes Gone" and Autry Inman's "Ballad of Two Brothers" are poignantly patriotic. Though it's not the most diverse collection in the Country Shots series, God Bless America will please any country fans looking for the perfect soundtrack to their Fourth of July parties.
