This 14-track budget compilation boasts a wide cross-section of some of country music's most endearing three-handkerchief weepers, largely pulled from the modern era of the music's history. Including Wynonna's Top Ten smash "Is It Over Yet," the Mavericks' "There Goes My Heart," Diamond Rio's "In a Week or Two" and Patsy Cline's immortal "I Fall to Pieces," this is cry-in-your-beer music of a generally non-honky tonk nature. The other artists featured on this skimpy, but well-programmed, set include Marty Stuart ("I'm Blue, I'm Lonesome"), Lorrie Morgan ("It's a Heartache"), Mark Chesnutt ("I'll Think of Something"), David Ball ("When the Thought of You Catches Up With Me"), Billy Dean ("Somewhere In My Broken Heart"), Radney Foster ("Closing Time") and Conway Twitty's duet with soul man Sam Moore on "Rainy Night In Georgia."
