There isn't really an underlying theme or concept to these 15 selections, save that all of them are country classics in one way or another, either as songs or performances, or both. Collected here are such cornerstone tracks as Hank Snow's "I'm Movin' On," Freddy Fender's version of Hank Williams' "Jambalaya (On the Bayou)," Jim Reeves' elegant "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You," Willie Nelson's beautiful "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain," and several other memorable sides. It's a bit like tuning into a classic country radio station, if one can actually find such a thing anymore.
