AllMusic Review by

There isn't really an underlying theme or concept to these 15 selections, save that all of them are country classics in one way or another, either as songs or performances, or both. Collected here are such cornerstone tracks as Johnny Cash's "I Walk the Line," Waylon Jennings' version of Bob Dylan's "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright," Slim Whitman's take on the elegant "Tennessee Waltz," Patsy Cline's "Walkin' After Midnight," and several other memorable sides. It's a bit like tuning into a classic country radio station, if one can actually find such a thing anymore.
