A trip around the relaxing side of the world, during which Akira Satake brings his banjo and koto, playing to everything from Irish jigs to a light Caribbean jazz fusion. There are admittedly moments during the course of this CD that the image of the latter-day Béla Fleck rises up, but Satake has his own course to plot here, and does it very nicely. The major problem, if anything, is that while the entire album is very well done, there is a distinct sense of déjà vu to it.
