The first taste of Dan Berridge's debut long-player came in the form of the thunderous "No Pain" -- a sonic train wreck which counted DJ Shadow and Van Halen amongst its passengers. Two years in the making, the LP extends upon this premise, with each of the 14 tracks somehow conjuring cinematic sense from a thousand densely packed, stolen snatches of sound. Listening on headphones is comparable to navigating through a sonic space as worlds collide around you. In a word: breathtaking.
