AllMusic Review by

This is a collection of various Loretta Lynn session dating from the late '60s to the mid-'70s when her song "Coal Miner's Daughter" hit the Billboard chart with a bang. Along with her own material, there are fantastic readings of songs that were associated with her idol and friend Patsy Cline, including "Walkin" After Midnight," "Crazy," and, of course, "I Fall to Pieces." Some tracks are live while others were recorded in the studio. The sound quality is consistent throughout -- unusual for the Legacy imprint -- and some of the modern material, such as "Let Your Love Flow" and "Me and Bobby McGee," actually fares better than the classics.
