Spacemusic has many different characteristics that make it something special to everyone who listens to it. In this case, Venja finds its niche in the mid-tempo style that is somewhere between the limits of floating and energetic. The timing of the six tracks is also in the mid-range, from 4:42 to 9:02. The strongest tracks are "Air Liquide" and "Clouddive", with the latter being "sampled commentary recordings" from the USSR's first spaceflight in 1961. The cassette's insert is also impressively long, and includes a short description for each track. This is a definitive plus, as it allows the listener to become more involved within each song. All in all, this is a solid tape, and worthy of your attention. For more information contact: Venja, Tiensestraat 243, P.O. Box 1, B-3000 Leuven, Belgium.
