Climb is Aaron & Jeoffrey's attempt to win a larger audience. Where their first two albums relied on smooth, polished production and seamless harmonies, Climb is a little rougher, featuring layers of guitars and pop-rock melodies. Aaron & Jeoffrey will still sound tame to ears accustomed to genuine rock & roll, but they do sound livlier than they did before, which helps give their often undistinguishable songs some substance. Which, in turn, makes Climb a modestly successful venture into new territory.
