Romanian avant-garde composer Radulescu shares his abstract approach with the prolific and somewhat more visible Dumetrescu, a compositional approach that is dominated by noise and atonality. On this LP on the Editions RZ he works with strings and percussion in a way that is challenging to the performer and listener alike. In keeping with the style of the Romanian avant-garde, Radulescu makes a music that is complex abrasive and incredibly dark. This album appears in the elegant house design of the Editions RZ label, which makes it a stunning document in every sense.
