AllMusic Review by

There's nothing particularly funny about Volume 2 of Naxos' Classics at the Movies: Comedy, but it does feature some solid performances of classical pieces that happened to be used in Hollywood comedies like The Big Lebowski, Trading Places, and A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy. Compositions from Mozart, Mendelssohn, Verdi, and Puccini are among the works appearing here, performed by an assortment of symphony orchestras, soloists, and vocalists.
