If Class Reunion '73 proves anything, it's that 1973 was a truly eclectic year for pop radio -- at what other point in time could the Allman Brothers' Southern-fried instrumental epic "Jessica" have peacefully co-existed with the blistering funk of Kool and the Gang's "Jungle Boogie"? Or, for that matter, the Dylanesque charms of Stealers Wheel's "Stuck in the Middle with You" alongside the bubblegum social commentary of Stories' "Brothers Louie"? Only in '73, my friend, only in '73.
