Recorded in the early '90s with friends like Jeff Beck, Andy Summers, Neal Schon, Jason Bonham, and Reeves Gabrels, this collection of re-recorded and occasionally live classics from the vast repertoire of Paul Rodgers could have been a lot worse. The question is, will people want faithfully rendered new versions of the Free classic "All Right Now" and "Feel Like Making Love" from Bad Company or a cover of Jimi Hendrix's "Purple Haze"? There's no denying Rodgers' powerful voice or his cast of legends' formidable chops, but this Chronicle is for die-hard fans only.
