Though Plumb started out as a Contemporary Christian alt-rock group, it eventually morphed into the name of band leader Tiffany Arbuckle's solo act. On her second album for the esteemed Curb label, Arbuckle offers up a primarily guitar-driven set of emotional pop/rock tunes that tackle issues of spirituality without falling into the worship & praise category. The performer's expressive voice shines on songs such as the surging opener, "Blush (Only You)," and the contemplative, piano-laden "Cut," and works particularly well with the gentle electronic backing of "Damaged," making for a dynamic edge that allows Plumb to stand out among her many CCM peers.
