AllMusic Review by

Cha Cha Cha -- Mambo -- Merengue (so many Fiesta albums by that name) departs from the intrumental, piano sound normally associated with Curbelo. The horns and singing are loud and energetic, making it lively. Unfortunately, a spartan syncopated beat, sometimes just a cowbell, leave it sounding thin ("for dancers only"). "Los Fantasmas" is a good tune sung well, though slightly marred by a cheesy wah-wah trumpet. "Mimi," one of four tracks by Barreto Sangroni, has the Curbelo vibes sound of the previous album. Two are by Curbelo.
