AllMusic Review by

Includes a fair reprisal of Clarence Carter's "I Smell a Rat." Latimore's smooth, low tenor delivers the goods best on the midtempo love songs, "Your Sweetness Is My Weakness," "Lay Another Log on the Fire!" or "Meet Me in the Middle of the Bed." But, on funk like "Skinny Little White Girl" or "Feed Your Hungry Man," the cuts would've fared better in the hands of Carter or perhaps Roy C.
