AllMusic Review by

On the second of two LP volumes, Gerry Mulligan and Chet Baker renew ties for only the second and final time since Mulligan's classic quartet disbanded in 1953. In addition to "Bernie's Tune" and the standard "There Will Never Be Another You," Baker, Mulligan and a young rhythm section (which includes guitarist John Scofield and keyboardist Bob James) perform two newer songs by Jeru. This is is a historically significant and musical set by a pair of masters who should have had more reunions.
