This is an absurd and ultimately pointless reissue. Included on this CD are 25 often-obscure dance band recordings from the 1925-34 period featuring male vocalists mostly singing lyrics obviously written originally for females (such as "Can't Help Lovin' That Man," "The Man I Love" and "Love for Sale"). The really dumb liner notes make it sound as if these were rare examples of homosexual feelings being expressed on record when in fact in virtually all cases the singers were stuck with the material given to them by songpluggers and made the best of it. All of the music should have been reissued in more coherent form.
