Candullo-Creager-Finley & James

Joe Candullo's fine jazz-oriented dance band of 1926-28 is heard on eight of the 14 selections included on this collectors LP from Harrison. In addition there are lesser (and very obscure) items from Willie Creager, Bob Finley and Billy James. General listeners are advised to acquire the early recordings of Louis Armstrong and Jelly Roll Morton first but aficionados of the era should do their best to get all the Harrisons, particularly since the albums are becoming rarer as time passes.
