The Bullet Proof Space Travelers, comprised of an all-star cast of Bay Area DJ's including Eddie Def, Cue, Quest, Marz, and Eddie K, know exactly how to mix things up on the hip-hop tip. Their album Built to Last ranges from the studio rap of "Unda the Weather," "Alkoholik Rimer," and "99th & 40 oz," to the electro programming of "Digital Arab" and "Cue's Theme," to the extreme turntablism of "Attack of the Killer Synth" and "Ed-die-Def," to the wild freestyle antics of "Hip Hop on the Hill." Based out of Daly City the crew that brought us the Hamster Breaks series leans heavily on the influence of Kurtis Mantronik and his use of the Roland TR-808 drum machine. If nothing else Built to Last provides for an excellent and exciting view of modern hip-hop as seen through the eyes of a seasoned battle DJ crew.
