The rating is really only for side one, which features the type of idea that served as a basis for many great cartoons. Beloved characters from various fairy tales that every child knows are brought into contact with Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, and the gang of Looney Tunes characters, the original fairy tale mythology sometimes winding up scattered to the winds in a rush of madcap action, an attack of sarcastic humor, or both. Mel Blanc seems to be having the time of his life here, obviously enjoying the added emphasis on sound detail that is a result of a cartoon character being presented on album, with no visual presence whatsoever. His disciple in voiceovers Pinto Colvig takes over the second side for another in the series of Bozo adventures he recorded for this series. This time the clown gets it into his head to visit a dog show, and the album sleeve has the audacity to claim the experience is going to be educational as well as humorous.
