Joseph LoDuca's score for Brotherhood of the Wolf is far better than the American cut of the film itself, and is filled with subtlety, tension, an ominous ethereality, and sheer beauty. The blend of guitars, classical string and horn arrangements, and electronic keyboards does in sound what the original film made happen onscreen, and would be the perfect counterpart. Given the sheer disaster that was the American version, this piece of music stands proudly, deftly, and elegantly on its own.
