AllMusic Review by

Demon's triple-disc Neat Neat Neat was the definitive Damned set, providing a comprehensive, even exhaustive, overview of their career. Cleopatra's Box Set takes a different perspective, focusing on latter-day recordings, rarities and modern remixes -- the kind of flotsam and jetsam that only appeals to hardcore collectors. And, in this case, it might not even be that appealing, since all three discs are available separately -- the first is their 1996 reunion album Not of This Earth, the second is the oddities collection The Chaos Years, the third is the pointless 1997 remix set Testify. Chances are, anyone who's interested in this material bought it on its initial release, and will find this repackaging to be superfluous to their basic Damned library. And casual fans -- fans of the classic first album, or even their later goth work -- will just find this unnecessary, and maybe even a little embarrassing.
