Bowling for Soup Presents... One Big Happy Review

by Gregory Heaney

In what could possibly be one of the most infectious and upbeat team-up albums in pop-punk history, Bowling for Soup combine forces with tourmates the Dollyrots and Patent Pending on Bowling for Soup Presents… One Big Happy. Looking to mix things up, the three-way split features each band playing the songs of the other two, creating a pop-punk musical chairs that feels like a whole summertime of love, heartache, and partying packed into one album. As an added bonus, One Big Happy also features a new song from each band, and as an added added bonus, the album also features an extra song by BFS's Jaret Reddick and the Dollyrots' Kelly Ogden, "Love Ya, Love Ya, Love Ya." For fans of any of these bands, or really of fun in general, One Big Happy is a no brainer of a purchase.
