AllMusic Review by

During the time when this split was recorded, both Weston and the Bouncing Souls were cranking out some of the catchiest, pop-punk love songs that appealed to the geek in everyone. The straightforward riffs and melodic vocals remain on this EP as the contributors pay tribute to the 1980s. The A-side happily contains head-bobbing versions of "Video Killed the Radio Star" (Weston) and "Kids in America" (Bouncing Souls) while the flip is a collaboration of both bands covering "Do They Know It's Christmas." Not the best representation of two pop-punk greats, but fun nonetheless.
