Bounce Mania: The Bounciest Clubland Anthems is another in a long line of Clubland mix albums released in the United Kingdom. This particular volume in the perennially popular series is a 40-track double-set set mixed by KB Project. One of the leading acts in the U.K. bounce scene, KB Project is a duo comprised of producer Kenny Hayes and DJ Ben Trengove, the latter of whom is the resident DJ at the bounce club Wigan Pier. Bounce Mania: The Bounciest Clubland Anthems includes some of the most popular bounce anthems from 2008 and 2009 as heard at Wigan Pier and on the many other Clubland albums. The first disc includes most of the highlights, most notably Tinchy Stryder and N-Dubz's "Number One," Cascada's "Evacuate the Dancefloor," and Darren Styles's "Save Me." Though less thrilling than the first disc, the second includes a handful of highlights, including Italo Brothers' "Stamp on the Ground," Ultrabeat's "Pretty Green Eyes," and KB Project's "This Is Bounce." Furthermore, KB Project fans are in for a treat as the album kicks off with a megamix of their production highlights. Though Bounce Mania: The Bounciest Clubland Anthems might offer little new to those who follow the Clubland series closely, it's an ideal summary of the bounce scene for those new to the style.
