Comedian and satiric songwriter Bo Burnham built a sizable following on the merit of his homemade videos, which have received thousands of hits on YouTube and MySpace. While still a student at an all-boys Catholic prep school, Burnham catapulted to Internet stardom on the popularity of such songs as “My Whole Family (Thinks I’m Gay),” “Perfect Woman,” a romantic ode to Helen Keller, and “Bo Fo Sho,” a mock rap overflowing with wordplay and locker room humor. BO FO SHO, Burnham’s first official recording, is a six-song EP released on Comedy Central Records. The album’s highly un-P.C. contents will either offend or delight listeners--though it might evoke both responses at once. The album is available only as a digital download.
