Capitalizing on his high-profile judging role on TV talent show La France a un Incroyable Talent, Amsterdam-born Francophone Wouter Otto Levenbach, aka Dave, attempts to remind audiences of his musical past with Blue-Eyed Soul!, a collection of Motown/Stax-style R&B reworkings of hits from his '70s heyday. His first release since 2006's Tout le Plaisir a Ete Pour Moi includes renditions of his French-language covers of the Ronettes' "Sugar Baby" ("Trop Beau") and Del Shannon's "Runaway" ("Vanina"), his first number one single, "Allo Elisa," and collaborations with Daniel Auteuil ("Du Cote de Chez Swann"), Sylvie Vartan ("Est-Ce Par Hasard"), and Françoise Hardy ("Il N'y a Pas de Honte a Etre Heureux").
