On this three-song cover EP, Bantam Rooster rocks out to their usual array of foot stomping, high-energy garage punk that pays. The title track, for example, is an obvious nod to Devo as the two-piece rocks their way through a wall of synth noise and abrasive vocals while their cover of "Private Affair" salutes the Saints as they add a romp of '60s swank to 1977-style punk. The highlight, however, is their Gibson Brothers rendition of "Dirt Preacher" that features a noisy guitar drive of feedback that reflects a style of Mudhoney and the Stooges. This is definitely better than their first single on Flying Bomb Records.
