AllMusic Review by

2 Tone revivalists and leaders of the third wave ska revival, the Toasters carved up the scene in the early '90s with albums like New York Fever, Dub 56, and Don't Let the Bastards Grind You Down (D.L.T.B.G.Y.D.), but they had already established themselves among the ska community in the years leading up to its resurgence. Like 2003's In Retrospect: The Best of the Toasters, 2002's Best of the Toasters presents a decent overview of the band ("I'm Running Right Through the World," "Devil and a .45," "Thrill Me Up," "Ska Killers"), dutifully profiling the impressive career of the longest active ska band in the United States.
