Clarinetist Brian Carrick, banjoist Mac MacDonald, bassist Ken Matthews, and drummer Malc Murphy are featured on a studio set and selections from a concert. This CD, issued as part of Jazz Crusade's Best of the Brits series, features the four English musicians sounding very much like they are from New Orleans, with Carrick sometimes emulating George Lewis. Among the better numbers are "In the Sweet Bye & Bye," "St. Phillip Street Breakdown," "High Society," and "Burgundy St. Blues."
