Somehow avoiding a best-of compilation ten years into his career in the U.S., Nelly had his first major compilation released in Japan only. The album collects essentially every hit Nelly produced between Country Grammar and Sweatsuit, and follows them roughly chronologically, with a handful of album tracks thrown in for good measure. "Country Grammar," "Ride wit Me," and "EI" lead off the album, followed by the hits from Nellyville, the foremost being "Hot in Here." The album finishes with a section of tracks from the Sweatsuit double-disc, as well as a couple of alternate track versions with different cameos thrown in. The only notable track missing is the collaborative "Shake Ya Tailfeather" from the soundtrack to Bad Boys II. Fans of Nelly already know what they're looking for, and this one isn't a bad choice, though an import version is likely to be pricier than the inevitable U.S. release of a similar compilation. Fans of Southern/Midwestern rap that somehow haven't heard of Nelly, though, should be hunting this one down as a quick introduction that covers all of the high points.
