In 1958 Benny Goodman took a specially assembled orchestra to the Brussels World Fair which served as a good excuse for a bunch of recording by The King of Swing. This well-rounded LP (released by the Westinghouse Corporation) mostly contains old favorites like "Bugle Call Rag," "Sing, Sing, Sing" and "Avalon" along with the recently composed "Balkan Mixed Grill." There are some good moments from pianist Roland Hanna, tenor great Zoot Sims and trumpeter Taft Jordan, but BG is the main star.
