AllMusic Review by

The fourth and final entry into the "spaces in special places" series of Bargrooves mixes, Terrazza provides more of the same and is sure to please anyone who found the earlier double discs to their liking. Each of these releases touches down, at least conceptually, in a ritzy city known for offering grade-A house clubbing, and Milan is the basis for Terrazza. The Italian city is home to DJ/producer Lele Sacchi, who mans the Sacchi label as well as the decks at many a local fashion-industry event. He is the guest DJ here on the second disc. As usual, Ben Sowton compiles and mixes the first disc and throws down a set typical of his previous Bargrooves efforts. Sacchi's set likewise falls in line with the sort of carefree, blissful house you'd expect to hear at an upscale club filled with beautiful, rich, and tipsy thirtysomething urbanites. The packaging is first-rate, as are all entries in the Bargrooves series, and this particular entry -- not much better or worse than any of the others -- brings the "spaces in special places" run to a satisfactory conclusion.
