AllMusic Review by

On Au Naturel, Christopher Green and Paul Eggleston lay out live improvisations with hip analog synths, ostensibly in the vein of seventies Germans like Cluster and Tangerine Dream (before the New-Age-y cheese). A decent amount of movement and near-composition makes the record a bit more interesting than a lot of similar projects, but the duo seems to bank too much on the sheer appeal of their instruments -- there's nothing here to make Au Naturel seem any more valuable than the sixties and seventies all-synth work they're recapturing.
