AllMusic Review by

An impressive big band (mostly comprised of Europeans) was put together by arranger Ernie Wilkins to back flugelhornist Clark Terry at his 1969 appearance at the Montreux Jazz Festival. While Terry (who sings the humorous "Mumbling in the Alps") is the main soloist, there are also spots for Wilkins on tenor (well-featured on "All Too Soon"), vibraphonist Dave Pike, guitarist Louis Stewart, and some lesser-known players. This out-of-print LP will be a difficult one to find.
