The German Syrenia label's second release combines old and new-school ambient talent, with electro-acoustician Tietschens combining his more surly, difficult style with Obmana's warm, flowing ambience. Three cuts in collaboration and a solo cut a piece fill out the hour of this disc, with mostly formless, textured program music the focus. Subtlety beautiful, with treated samples and found sounds accenting cycling synth passages and alternately stern and gentle melodies.
