A typically functional Ministry of Sound overview of commercial dance music supplied in a heaping portion, Anthems: 90s serves up 60 tracks from the '90s. The CD edition consists of three adequately mixed discs that will appeal to casual listeners and likely irritate serious clubbers, as each selection is neatly pressed into place without a great amount of thought. Loosely chronological, this dutifully rolls through some of the biggest and most notable club hits released during the decade, including Bizarre Inc.'s "Playing with Knives," Corona's "Rhythm of the Night," Haddaway's "What Is Love?," Robin S.' "Show Me Love," Fatboy Slim's "Praise You," the Todd Terry mix of Everything But the Girl's "Missing You," and Reel to Real's "I Like to Move It." The digital edition offers each track separately, in full.
