AllMusic Review by

Ângla Ro Ro (nicknamed after her hoarse voice, "rouca" in Portuguese) is a sincere artist, devoted to sing her unconventional preferences in an irreverent and at the same time dramatic manner, exploring in depth the existential abysses of human soul. Composer of several hits recorded by artists such as Maria Betânia, on this album recorded live in 1993, she sings some of them: "Fogueira" and "Amor Meu Grande Amor." Her main influences are obviously Frank Sinatra, Jacques Brel, and Ella Fitzgerald, as can be checked in "Ne Me Quitte Pas," "All the Way," "Night and Day," and "Embraceable You." The repertory of 16 songs comprises also wonderful songs by Chico Buarque, João Donato. and the classic "Senza Fine."
