AllMusic Review by

A fine Bill Evans-inspired pianist, Jeff Colella alternates thoughtful pieces with more cooking renditions, working very well with bassist Trey Henry and drummer Kendall Kay. Among the selections that the trio performs are a thoughtful "Skylark," a three-song medley built around "Alone Together," a hard-swinging rendition of Evans' "Re: Person I Knew," a driving version of "Impressions," and "It Could Happen to You," which has a sly rhythm played by the bass. Fans of solid modern mainstream jazz trios will enjoy this excellent effort.
