AllMusic Review by

Led by guitarist Mason Jones, this ultra-experimental quartet produces spaced-out psychedelic rock that picks up right where early Pink Floyd classics like "Careful With That Axe, Eugene" and "Astronomy Domine" left off. Expansive soundscapes with titles like "Shut Inside," "Hidden Outside," and "Floating Above the Skyline" flow together seamlessly to form a mind-blowing river of molten lava unlike anything else on the late-'90s scene. This is very trippy stuff -- the type acid freaks could lose themselves in for days -- and while it has little in common with the instrumental music of the electronica or "math rock" scenes, it's certainly no less compelling.
