AllMusic Review by

Tourism is vital to the economic health of the Caribbean, so the area is marketed to the rest of the world as if the rain never falls in paradise, leading to musical collections like this one, which are so watered down and generic that they actually make songs like "Rivers of Babylon," "The Israelites," and "I Shot the Sheriff" seem like vacation jingles instead of poignant statements in class warfare, which is what they really are. As sung by the Starlite Singers, these songs are muted into faux cheerfulness, and then presented in arrangements as sunny as a tropical postcard, which is fine if you want background music for an afternoon at the pool. Just don't mistake it for anything real.
