This volume in BMG's All American Country series suffers the same fate that most budget comps do -- first off, his biggest hits, all recorded for Warner Bros., are not included here. Next, there are only ten tracks. Of these, there isn't a dud in the bunch -- versions of "The Wanderer," "Repetitive Regret," "Gotta Have You," and "A World Without Love" are included. The problem is, in addition to a skimpy composition, the sound on this set is dodgy at best. There are far better compilations out there; seeking them out is worthwhile. Somebody really needs to do a double disc that features material from both labels.
