AllMusic Review by

"It Do Feel Good" was the last of Donna Fargo's big hits for Dot Records, reaching the Top Ten in 1975 (she would later make a commercial comeback on Warner Bros.). That song is included on All About a Feeling, which is comprised entirely of Fargo's original songs. Fargo was an excellent songwriter with a pop sensibility whose feel-good concerns skirted the hard country themes of cheating and abject misery, although some of her songs have a melancholy disposition. "Rotten Little Song," with it's "la la" chorus and Shirley Temple vocal performance, might seem terminally cute, but Fargo's brand of upbeat and accessible country is the sort of music that brought the genre such tremendous mainstream success from the '70s onward.
