In 2013, Cherry Red sublabel Robinsongs, based in the U.K., combined two Johnny Guitar Watson full-lengths on one disc: Ain't That a Bitch (1976) and A Real Mother for Ya (1977). The albums contain "Superman Lover" and "A Real Mother for Ya," which were Watson's biggest hits since his '50s and '60s output for RPM and King. Serious '70s soul and blues fans will find much to enjoy beyond those singles, while relatively casual listeners should be better off with an anthology like The Very Best of Johnny Guitar Watson: The Gangster of Love Meets the Superman Lover, which Robinsongs released in 2014.
