In 1999, Bleach released their self-titled third project, only to be followed by a three-year recording silence. However, in 2002, the band returned with Again for the First Time, their first project on Tooth & Nail Records. In addition to signing with a new record label, the band, composed of members Sam Barnhart, Jerry Morrison, and Dave Baysinger, added two new members, brothers Milam and Jared Byers. The album offers a live rock sound, characterized by what Milam Byers calls, "...a new energy to everything" (Hoganson Media Relations). Songs include "Found You Out," "Knocked Out," and "Jen's Song."
