AllMusic Review by

Containing barely a hint of the kind of progressive trance upon which the Platipus label built its reputation, Addicted -- a two-disc mix handled by Australia's Luke Chable (disc one) and Greece's Kosmas Epsilon (disc two) -- leans more toward what is called electro-house (for lack of a better term). Not fully techno and not fully house, the sound tends to be a bright, bold, melodic mix of the two -- and it's far too restless to be filed under trance. Both DJs are low on flash; their selections are almost always fully aired out, and with no abrupt transitions. Featured tracks include Thomas Schumacher's "Inside," Lützenkirchen's "Daily Disco" (with a riff very reminiscent of Mathew Jonson's "Decompression"), Elias Tzikas' "She's Scared," and Ozan Öner's "No Self Control."
